Honest Storytelling with a Little Guided Magic

Whether you're planning a grand celebration or a quiet, intimate gathering, I’ll be there to document your connection in a way that feels effortlessly true to you.

Navigating Your Day with Ease

Weddings are beautifully unpredictable. Timelines shift, the weather changes, and emotions run high. With over a decade of experience photographing weddings across Connecticut and New England, my job isn’t just to take photos—think of me as your built-in bestie. I’m there to straighten ties, calm your nerves, and keep things on track so you can simply breathe and enjoy your people. I know exactly when to step in with gentle direction and when to fade into the background so you can just be present. From shoreline ceremonies in Mystic to cozy barn weddings in Litchfield County, I know the rhythm of New England venues, the nuances of every season, and how to handle logistical curveballs.

The Experience: What It's Like to Work Together

1. Before Your Wedding:

The time leading up to your wedding should feel exciting, not overwhelming. We’ll jump on a call or meet up in person so I can hear all about your vision. You'll also fill out a detailed questionnaire about how you want your day to flow.

From these details, I build a customized photography timeline. You will know exactly what to expect, and your family will know precisely when and where to meet for photos—leaving you free to relax and enjoy the day.

2. During Your Wedding: Complete Presence

My work is rooted in genuine connection. My goal is to capture authentic, raw emotions, while remaining a calm, grounding space where you can let your guard down and just feel the energy of your day. On your wedding day, my highest hope is that you are able to soak in every moment with the ones you love most, trusting that I am there capturing the love.

My style blends raw, observational storytelling with intentional, gentle guidance. I spend some of the day working quietly in the background, capturing the big laughs, the quiet tears, and the candid energy of you and your favorite people, while also knowing when to step in and guide the moment. When it’s time for your portraits, you won’t have to worry about feeling awkward or stiff. I use a signature mix of fun, casual prompts that focus on movement and interaction. This keeps you focused on each other, capturing your genuine chemistry completely naturally.

Protecting Your Time With Your People:
I deeply respect the value of traditional family portraits, but I respect your time even more. Together, we will build a seamless, efficient shot list ahead of time. We’ll capture those timeless family heirlooms quickly, calmly, and beautifully. My goal is to get you out of a lineup and back to drinking champagne with your loved ones.

3. After Your Wedding: Safe Keeping & Swift Sneaks

Waiting for your photos is the hardest part. The moment I get home, your images are safely backed up to an online cloud and an external hard drive. Then, the curation and editing process begins. I meticulously review every frame, clear out the lighting tests and bloopers, and polish each image to perfection.

You won’t be left waiting in the dark. Soon after your wedding, I will send over a beautiful gallery of sneak peeks to download and share while your final gallery is being prepared. A few weeks later, you’ll receive your full, private online gallery. It’s built for simple, high-resolution downloading, with an integrated print shop so you can order optional high-quality prints and wall art directly to your door.
